Okay, so I've officially confirmed that crocheting is simply not for me. Or maybe I am not for crocheting. Either way, the crochet is not crocheting. My pointer finger is now vjbrating because it had to maintain the tension (BARF), and I'm pretty sure the hot glue gun is plotting against me. OW. HOT! nv9aSIICsssssss.
Anyways...
Despite the burns and the frustration, I'm stubbornly soldiering on because, well, I refuse to let a ball of yarn defeat me. Call it spite, I just refuse to fail and for some reason view crocheting as a enemy I have to defeat? If I'm Mario, a ball of yarn is my Bowser.
But you know what? Documenting these failures can maybe be helpful? I sure hope so or this is kinda for nothing... So do me a solid and watch a little. There's such a oversaturation of success. I would love to see someone failing in a beautiful way. It's like a reminder that growth is messy and imperfect. Plus, it takes the pressure off knowing that even the pros stumble sometimes. So here's to embracing the chaos and learning from every tangled knot!
